Sleeze Beez - Discografia.

Sleeze Beez é uma banda de Hard Rock e Glam Metal vinda da Holanda e tem uma base rítmica bastante similar ao AC/DC. No começo da carreira inclusive, a banda tocava bastante covers do AC/DC. A primeira formação estável da banda aconteceu em 1988 e contava com o baterista Jan Kosterand (ex-Highway Chile) e ainda com o guitarrista Chris Van Jaarsveld (Picture). Esta dupla foi quem financiou o primeiro disco da banda, mesmo sem ainda terem vocalista, baixista e segundo guitarrista.

Depois da entrada do segundo guitarrista, baixista e a saída do vocalista Tigo Fawzi e entrada do inglês Andrew Elt (Gin On The Rocks), a banda começou a fazer sucesso mundial rapidamente, mas ainda assim o sucesso não era equivalente à qualidade da banda. Com o lançamento do primeiro disco em 1988 e a bem sucedida tour europeia, a banda assinou contrato com a Atlantic Records na América do Norte, para o lançamento de "Screwed, Blued & Tattooed" em 1989. O disco foi muito bem recebido e a banda ainda abriu a turnê de 1990 do Skid Row, e depois fez sua própria mini - turnê, com 8 bandas abrindo os shows, inclusive o Shy e o Cold Sweat.

Com a chegada do Grunge e o declínio das bandas de Hard Rock, o Sleeze Beez ainda lançou "Powertool" em 1993 apresentando um som mais melódico, não conseguindo repetir o sucesso de seu segundo disco, o que levou a banda a voltar para a Holanda, já sem o contrato com a Atlantic Records. Lá na Holanda a banda ainda lançou um disco em 1994, "Insanity Beach", até então seu disco mais pesado.

Como a banda não estava vendendo muito nos EUA, e no Japão a banda ainda fazia muito sucesso, o SLeeze Beez lançou seu último disco, ao vivo, gravado em 13 de maio de 1995, no Clube Cita, no Japão. Depois do Lançamento deste disco, o vocalista Andrew Elt saiu, o que fez com que a banda acabasse. Andrew Elt ainda foi para Los Angeles para tentar uma carreira solo que não deu muito certo. Mais tarde, Andrew se juntou ao ex-companheiro de banda Don Van Spall para formar o Heavy 70's e mais tarde o The Moon. Chris Van Jaarsveld e o baixista Ed Jongsma formaram ainda o Jetland. Depois do fracasso de suas bandas, Andrew Elt decide cantar em bandas cover do AC/DC. Retornaram em 2010 e lançaram um single em 2011. Texto: Glam Hard 80 (Whiplash). Site Oficial.
